"My mom moved into Tender Hearts a year ago. It was a very scary experience for her at first. The staff at Tender Hearts made sure Mom was seated at a table in the dining room with people they thought she would get along with. By the end of the day, Mom had new friends and was feeling comfortable. My mom stays busy with all the activities the staff plans for the residents. I feel very fortunate that we were able to find the right place for her. I can stop by anytime, and I’m always greeted with a smile and a friendly face. Kayla makes herself available whenever I need to talk to her about any concerns. I truly feel blessed knowing that Mom is in a good place with good people who take pride in putting the residents first."

"My husband was in another facility for physical therapy, but when he was discharged, we needed to find assisted living for him quickly, as the facility he was in did not have any available rooms. The social worker told us that Tender Hearts had a room opening up on Monday, so, sight unseen, we said we would take it. We were very nervous about what kind of place we were putting him in, but it turned out to be very nice."

"If you are looking for a professional and compassionate home for your loved one, I would highly recommend Tender Hearts Assisted Living. My husband lived there for several years and the care that he recieved was amazing. I was always informed of his medical condition and together we considered methods of keeping him comfortable. They were so thoughtful about the things he enjoyed such as favorite TV programs and treats (like cookies). They also encouraged him to attend social activities that were offered. 

Tender Hearts Assisted Living was concerned about my welfare too. They made me feel like one of the family. They were always there for me when I needed them. My husband died in May but we still stay in touch. That's a wonderful testament to what a wonderful group of people work there."

"I know our mom has not really been here for too long as of yet. As you know when we were making the decision to move Mom somewhere, it was a very trying time for both of us. I can tell you now after these few short months, we both are so much at peace with our decision, and here is just a little bit why. 

I continually see tenants of this building getting some of the best care they ever could. They are always treated with real compassion and gentle hands, and this was one of the things I was worried about in the move. I know we all have good days and bad days from both sides, but your employees always wear a smile on their face, and they always try to make it better for those who are here and struggling today. To me, this is very professional. Also, from what I see you have a group that make an excellent and cohesive team to be proud of. 

I am sure I speak for both of us when I say, God Bless all of you for the great work you do and you should be proud of the work you all do for the elderly!!!"

"I moved my mom in October because of so many falls and mishaps at her previous location. I heard a lot of wonderful comments and referrals about Tender Hearts when searching. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The staff are so kind and helpful, and they tend to the residents' needs immediately. Very good communication, they will even send me a picture of my mom while 'hanging out' with any of the team at Tender Hearts. I am so happy and have very little concern for her there, everybody is great! Thank you to all of you!"

"Several years ago, my mother fell and broke her hip. She had been showing early signs of dementia but during her hospital stay, her physicians felt it was no longer safe for her to live alone in her apartment and recommended we look for an assisted living facility. We toured facilities and agreed Tender Hearts was the best option for my mother. Its layout was easy to figure out so we felt my mother would be able to navigate around the facility without getting lost. 

The staff and other residents were kind and welcoming and our mother was able to easily make the transition to her new living environment. She has had a couple of health issues since we made the move, but the staff has managed her increased care needs very professionally. It is reassuring to us that she is comfortable and well cared for and she is at ease knowing there is someone to help her twenty four hours a day."
